The city of Tromsø is the capital of the Arctic, located above the Arctic Circle. Access from most UK airports is excellent with daily flights via Oslo. Also known as the Paris of the North, Tromsø offers superb hotels, a picturesque harbour frontage, fine restaurants and lively bars.

This region is a photographer’s dream in spring summer and autumn... sea fishing is the finest imaginable... ideal from February through to October. The halibut potential in November/December is huge (a fish over 700 pounds was landed in October !).
